Heather turned 150 years old today and to celebrate we visited Akron’s VegiTerranean, owned by local legend Chrissie Hynde of the Pretenders. Being omnivorous, I’ll admit I was skeptical of the entirely Vegan menu. I was pleasantly surprised by one of the top five meals of my life. I had the Potato Gnocchi with Roasted Red Pepper and Artichoke. Heather had the Eggplant and Mushroom Rolls with Escarole. We savored every bite with giant smiles on our faces.
In other news, stupid Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow. Again.

Thanks for revealing my age! I look good for 150! It appears the veggie diet helps fight aging :)
Boy if she's 150, what am I?? She always looks great. Happy Birthday to Heather. And the groundhog is silly, and usually wrong.
Your images/perspectives are amazing, and funny thing! I'm vegan. My friends were there at the opening of that veggie restaurant as my company does things with Chrissie. Wish I lived closer to that place.
